The Sizzling Syncopators

The Sizzling Syncopators

Woody Guthrie Stage - Rm 232 - 4:00-4:30

The Sizzling Syncopators perform material drawn primarily from early jazz, blues, and tin-pan alley recordings of the 1920s and '30s, along with novelty, hillbilly, and classic honky-tonk numbers. The Syncopators are: Mrs. Rittenhouse (vox, rhythm git); "Fiddle" Ray Landsberg (guess what); Gregory Pratt (lead guitar) and Matt "Doc" Small (doghouse bass).

The Sizzling Syncopators aim to recall the music of Prohibition speakeasies, minstrel shows, juke joints, house rent parties, barn dances, and sock hops.
