We are now accepting applications for performers and workshops for the 44th annual San Francisco Free Folk Festival, scheduled for Saturday June 13, 2020. The application form is here. Applications will be accepted until February 25. The festival will be a full day of music, dance, and storytelling workshops and concerts, crafts, vendors, and fun for the whole family – see our video!
All ages and musical interests are welcome at the festival. All events and workshops are open to anyone who wants to participate or just listen. Admission to everything is free!
Last year’s program is still online at sffolkfest.org/program-2019. Thanks to everyone who helped out!
We rely on donations and sponsors to cover the cost of renting the facility and other expenses. All the performers and workshop leaders donate their time and talent. Many of them are members of the San Francisco Folk Music Club.
Since everyone involved is a volunteer, we can always use more help! See the volunteer page for more information.
The festival is run by the San Francisco Folk Music Club, a non-profit organization that was founded in 1948 and is still going strong. Membership is open to everyone.
