The San Francisco Free Folk Festival is 100% volunteer-run — none of the organizers, performers or workshop leaders get paid. But as with all large events, we have major costs, including building rental, insurance and other expenses.

We rely on donations to help cover these costs. We are a 501(c)3 organization, federal tax ID 94-3281922.

Donations by check before the festival can be mailed to: Marlene McCall, P.O. Box 164, Berkeley CA 94701. Checks should be made payable to SFFMC (San Francisco Folk Music Club). Let us know your name and address if you want a receipt for tax purposes.

We also encourage donations at the festival. Donations of $5 or more at the front desk or info table earn you a commemorative button. You may also ask there for a tax-deductible receipt.
