The San Francisco Free Folk Festival is 100% volunteer-run — none of the organizers, performers or workshop leaders get paid. But as with all large events, we have major costs, including building or space rental, insurance and other expenses.
We rely on donations to help cover these costs. We are a 501(c)3 organization, federal tax ID 94-3281922.
To send us a donation now using your debit card, credit card, or checking account, please click the Donate button below. The button works through PayPal, but you can use it even if you don’t have a PayPal account.
To donate via check, make your check out to our parent organization San Francisco Folk Music Club or SFFMC and mail it to SFFMC, 1609 Woolsey St, Berkeley CA 94703. You can write “SF Free Festival” on the memo line (not on the “To” line). Let us know your name and address if you want a receipt for tax purposes.
We also encourage donations at the festival. You may also ask there for a tax-deductible receipt.
