This is a dance style famously seen at Oktoberfest. The workshop will cover a few simple couples folk dances from in and around Bavaria. Lederhosen not required.
Christopher Mobley began his dance experience upon moving to the East Bay in 2002. He’s practiced and taught vintage ballroom and various forms of folk dances including Bavarian, Morris, and English Country. When he’s not dancing himself, he can also be found photographing dances. He joined the Golden Gate Bavarian Club in 2009, and has been slapping his Lederhosen-clad thighs with them ever since.
