Guitar Theory Using the Major Scale (2017 program)

This is a workshop that shows how a major scale works, what intervals are, and how to use that information to build any type of chord using those intervals. No scales will be taught, but we will use a major scale to help explain it more clearly. There will be handouts showing most of the different chords and what intervals make them, and some other helpful information as well. Don’s goal is to go slowly, so each person in the room goes away with something they can use right away and does not get overwhelmed, as too often happens in many theory workshops and classes. Although Don is a guitar player, this information is valid for all other instruments, and even voice.
