Muse Crossing (2017 program)

3-Part Vocal Harmonies
Woody Guthrie Stage – Rm 232 / 5:30 - 6:00

Muse Crossing is Shawn Dohring, Michèle Voillequé and Mark Walstrom – three very different musicians who share a passion for singing. We play eclectic arrangements of folk, popular, and classical songs, always with an emphasis on tight vocal harmony. We have many inspirations, but mostly we choose beautiful songs that we can make our own. We’ve been singing together as often as we can since early 2013.

We record like we perform: in one room, listening to each other. Our latest CD, Crossed Lines, is available for download from CDBaby.

We’ve taught harmony workshops at the SFFFF in 2014 and 2016, and we played a set on the Woody Guthrie Stage in 2016.

“Muse Crossing covers are like seeing an old friend that you remember being kind of pretty, and noticing she is now radiant and gorgeous.” – R. N.

After we opened for Marin/Marin at Studio 55 in 2015:
“The other act, “Muse Crossing” turned out to be a wonderful harmony-singing trio with a fabulous blend and great arrangements.” – Rik Elswit
