Valerie Rose is a fiddler and singer who plays in a number of Bay Area Irish bands, including The Gallowglasses and others. Daniel Hersh is one of the leading concertina players in the Bay Area. He organized and co-led many concertina workshops at past Free Festivals. Valerie and Daniel have been playing and performing together for four years, performing most recently at the 2016 Fairfax Irish Music Festival. Their repertoire includes tunes and songs from Ireland, Scotland, Sweden and the Shetland Islands.
