This year’s workshop will combine traditional folks songs of sexual betrayal and cautions with modern blues, country, and feminist songs of sexual resistance and empowerment.
A long-time member of the SF Folk Music Club, Estelle Freedman has taught women’s history and the history of sexuality at Stanford University for over four decades. She has also recorded several albums of original songs.
