DECOSTER is a project of singer/songwriter Paul DeCoster, a native of New York City with music that combines 80s style adult contemporary pop a la Sting and Steve Perry with world music percussive rhythms that use a hybrid kit; a drum kit with jimbe and assorted instruments from different parts of the world. The songs evoke spiritual exploration both beyond and within, an appropriate response to the new age dawning for which no precedent from the last age is adequate, except for that of raised consciousness.
