The Elise and Steve Project is an indie folk/folk rock, singer-songwriter duo, based in the SF Bay Area. With ear-catching lyrics and great harmonies, Elise and Steve bring a distinctive sound into the world of folk and folk rock. Our Celtic, jazz, Americana and classical influences show in our music. Steve has spent several decades playing in indie, Americana and blues bands, layered onto a decade of classical guitar training. Elise has been writing music and singing since she was a kid in Topanga Canyon, influenced by her classically trained musician parents who also grooved on jazz and rock.
