
Tina Louise Barr is a virtuoso performer of the autoharp, a multi-stringed American instrument. From the central valley of California, Tina Louise is acclaimed for her concise technique on the autoharp and dynamic performances. Her amazing versatility on the autoharp has won recognition in her field. She performs solo and also with the Brookdale Bluegrass Band, as well as with her own band, Hot Wire. Tina Louise Barr has performed as a guest artist with the Red Dog Ash Band, the Black Irish Band, Michael Martin Murphey, and folk legend Bryan Bowers.
Tina has been a featured performer at numerous music festivals, including the Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering in Pennsylvania, the Willamette Valley Autoharp Gathering in Oregon, the Glendale Folk & Heritage Festival in Arizona, and the San Francisco Free Folk Festival. Tina Louise Barr is a charter staff member of the California Autoharp Gathering and is a recipient of the CAG Lifetime Achievement Award. She is a recipient of the Modesto Area Music Association (MAMA) Award in the Americana category. Tina Louise Barr is a staff member of the international music publication Autoharp Quarterly.
