As a follow up to our film sneak preview workshop at the 2020 virtual SFFFF, this year we plan to combine screening new scenes from the film with a sing-along of some of Faith’s signature songs. The workshop is open to all, both educational and participatory.
Estelle Freedman and Christie Herring are co-producer/directors of the documentary film in progress, “Singing for Justice: Faith Petric and the Folk Process.” Estelle is an award-winning historian of women, sexuality, and feminism who teaches at Stanford University. Christie is an award-winning director, editor, and producer who has worked in documentary filmmaking for over 20 years and has a strong interest in social justice.
