This workshop will focus on acoustic guitar techniques heard in many blues songs and translatable into other types of music, including rock and roll. If strumming chords is where you’re at and you’d like to expand your toolbox, this workshop will teach some other ways of addressing the guitar to vary rhythms and create grooves.
Joe Cadora has been a guitar player since the age of 11. He learned the blues from Danny Kalb, iconic guitar player for the Blues Project, and has been a part of the Bay Area music scene for 30 years. Most recently he has performed with the Beatles tribute band The Quarry Persons and acoustic trio The Village Revival.
