An acoustic duo, Deborah Crooks with Kwame Copeland on guitar/backing vocals, will be performing new and vintage original material.

California songwriter Deborah Crooks has recorded four full-length CDs (including 2019’s Department of the West) of original music, received national airplay, and had her songs placed on the PBS series Road Trip Nation, and in the finals of the 2014 EcoArts Awards. Performing throughout the western US (at bay area venues including The Lost Church, Starry Plough, and Bottom of the Hill) with her solo project or with Kwame Copeland as Bay Station, her music has been compared to Lucinda Williams and The Cowboy Junkies. The Rocking Magpie described her music as “…what Americana music is all about for me; imaginative, cinematic, informative and last but not least … entertaining.”
