The Under Trio play traditional and original folk, as well as country and blues.
The Under Trio was formed in the summer of 2020 as a means to perform music unplugged and outdoors. Members include:
Mr. Andrew, a San Francisco native who has taught music and been active on the local music scene since 2007.
Sara Jayne, originally from New York and now living in Berkeley, who is also a music teacher, the host of the Starry Plough open mic, and first chair cellist in the Community Women’s Orchestra.
Sean Valentine, originally from Georgia and now living in Oakland, who is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and an avid outdoorsman.
