Peter Kasin and Richard Adrianowicz will perform chanteys and other songs of the sea, many drawn from rare collections.
Peter Kasin and Richard Adrianowicz have been singing and recording CDs of sea music since they teamed up as a duo in 2002. They have performed together at the Mystic Seaport Sea Music Festival, the Festival of the Sea at Hyde Street Pier, and the Northwest Folklife Festival in Seattle. Separately, Richard has performed at the Chicago Maritime Festival, and Peter at the Captain Cook Maritime Music Festival, in Yorkshire, England. Richard has performed in several folk music groups previous to his duo with Peter, most notably Out of the Rain. Peter also plays fiddle at Irish sessions and in the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers. He is also an actor, trained at Studio ACT.
