Tim Bertsch is a composer, performer, recording artist, published writer, guitarist, harp guitarist, producer, and music educator based in the Pacific Northwest.

He has been a disciple of the guitar and its resonance since the age of 10. Having long since lived, composed and performed in three very different musical worlds, Timothy has studied with Larry Coryell, Emily Remeler, Beppe Gambetta, Joshua Breakstone and John Stowell. Tim is proficient on the electric guitar as well as acoustic guitar / harp guitar. Heavily rooted in jazz, fusion, flamenco, rock, classical, blues and progressive world music, his musical talents are equally diverse.

Having established himself as a dynamic and versatile soloist, Timothy has shared headline billing with many national acts in different genres. The publications in which he’s written include Classical Guitar and Acoustic Guitar Magazine. He’s been featured in several CNN segments and has performanced at festivals around the globe leading to international exposure. He recently completed a full radio broadcast interview and live performance on Amsterdam’s Radio Salto 103.3 MHZ whilst touring in Holland.

He has performed as a featured soloist at many festivals including Folklife, The Reno International Jazz Festival, The NAMM Show and Muriel Anderson’s All Star Harp Guitar Night, to name a few. His versatility and competency on guitar, harp guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele and sitar have made him an in-demand studio musician, as well as a sought-after live performer. He is currently endorsed by Guild Guitars, Breedlove Guitars, Emerald Guitars, Timberline Guitars, Orange Amplification, Peavey Amplification, EMG Pickups, DR Strings, Floyd Rose, Mogami Cables, Lehle, K&K Pickups and Shubb Capos.
