A game for people who know a LOT of songs! Any genre — it’s all good! Casey will read out a word. Find a song that has the target word, and sing the song line with the word in it. Keep your own score, or forget points and just have fun!
People have to be able to hear one another or the game is impossible. Appropriate for all ages, though the under-10 set might not have a big enough repertoire yet. The game is fast paced and keeps people’s attention. There’s lots of laughing and positive reinforcement. In facilitating the game, Casey doesn’t emphasize competition, but it is possible to keep score if one wishes.
Casey is a regular volunteer for SFFMC and the Portland Folk Music Society, and does a lot of her singing on Zoom these days. She loves to see singers digging deep into their repertoire!
